Pool Rules - The Pool is Closed for the Season. It will reopen in May 2024.
2023 TENNIS COURT AND POOL RULES
1. No more than 48 people may be inside the pool fence at any one time.
2. All staff, swimmers and all those who enter the pool/pool and tennis courts are encouraged to wash their hands often and use available hand sanitizer.
3. Neighborhood facilities are open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Open days and operating times may be changed by the Board without notice.
4. Under no circumstances are SJP key cards to be given to unauthorized users.
5. SJP Neighborhood facilities are for use of residents and immediate family.
6. Homeowners of properties approved as hardship leases by the Association must forgo their right to use the neighborhood facilities so tenants may use the facilities if issued a key card in their
name.
7. Only players are allowed on the tennis courts.
8. Children younger than 14 years of age must have adult supervision while at the pool and tennis courts. An adult is someone 18 years or older.
9. If you bring alcohol to the pool you should have an ID with you. If there is any question as to whether a person at the pool is of legal age to drink alcohol, the police will be called.
10. NO GLASS IS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA. Broken glass in the pool area requires us to temporarily close the pool so it can be inspected and if needed drained for cleaning. Anyone having glass
containers inside the pool area will be asked to remove the glass or leave the premises.
11. NO SMOKING. The pool and tennis courts (areas inside the fenced property), bleachers, picnic tables, and playground are all smoke‐free areas. Anyone smoking inside these areas will be asked to
leave. Smoking includes all cigarettes, cigars, vaping products, and marijuana.
12. All infants and toddlers must wear proper protective garments (swimmies, plastic pants, swim diapers). Children having “accidents” in the pool cause health risks making it necessary to
temporarily close the pool while expensive treatments takes place.
13. Absolutely NO ANIMALS are allowed in the pool area. This is a health violation and the health department will shut the pool down.
14. The entrance gate MUST remain closed and latched at all times. Climbing over the gate to access the pool area is strictly forbidden and will be considered trespassing on SJP property.
15. No running is allowed on the pool deck or bathroom areas. These areas can become wet and slippery during normal pool activity.
16. Pool furniture may not be removed from the pool area, placed in the pool or used in any manner other than its intended use. Furniture will be positioned before the pool is opened. If you are
present in a family group and move furniture please return it to the original location before leaving.
17. The pool railings are not to be used as slides.
18. Profanity will not be tolerated and violators will be asked to leave.
19 No horseplay will be allowed in the pool area. Anyone behaving in a way that puts themselves or someone else at risk of injury will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
20. No skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, or bikes are allowed inside the pool area, tennis courts, or on sidewalks.
21. No diving is allowed.
22. Umbrellas are designed to withstand normal winds when closed. If you leave a table please close the umbrellas. If you are the last to leave the pool for the day please close any open umbrellas.
To close umbrellas push the center ring up.
23. Pool parties will be allowed in 2023 under the following conditions. Parties must be held in the designated party area on the west side of the pool. The party area must be reserved in advance.
Parties should be limited to 20 people. To avoid congestion at the entrance, the covered portion of the pool deck will not be available to set-up food unless expressly authorized. Rental cost for the
party area is $50 which includes an extra cleaning of the rest rooms after the party, two tables, up to 12 loungers and 8 chairs. A small tent may be ste up by the host one hour before the
party. It must be removed immediately after the party.
